Bio

Thomas Massoni joined MIT as C.L.E. Moore Instructor in Fall 2024, after completing his PhD from Princeton University under the supervision of Professors John Pardon and Peter Ozsváth. Prior to that, he earned his Bachelor's and Master's degree from École Normale Supérieure in Paris. In Fall 2025, he will move to Stanford University as a Stanford Science Fellow.

Thomas Massoni's research focuses on symplectic topology and its interactions with low-dimensional topology (foliations on 3-manifolds) and dynamical systems (Anosov flows). He is currently interested in applying pseudo-holomorphic curve techniques and Floer theory to study classical problems in these fields.
